"I have succesfully represented over 3,500 individuals charged with serious crimes. Let me put my experience to work for you, so you can have a Great Defense!"
If you are being Investigated or Questioned concerning a crime when the police or County Sheriff turns their investigative focus on you, you should be aware of these important points and your rights.
When you are being investigated or questioned as a suspect remember...
The Government may not have enough evidence to charge you, YET.
The Government is hoping that YOU will give them the evidence they need voluntarily by "cooperating with them", answering their questions, giving them a statement, giving them permission to search your home or vehicle. This happens with thousands of suspects, by "cooperating", they end up creating or strengthening the Government's case against themselves.
In order to avoid strengthening the Government's case against you can decline to assist them. Declining to assist them in building a case against you is not Obstruction of Justice, it is called exercising your 5th Amendment Rights under the United States Constitution, you have a Right to not incriminate yourself.
